Times have changed
We think you should enjoy your wedding in your own style. Tell us your favourite food and we will design the menu around it: a traditional carvery, a hog roast, or bangers and mash, a spicy curry or your favourite pie if that is what you would choose.
Venue hire is one all-day price. Choose the room, choose the food, and we will cater for every dietary requirement on the guest list.

Each room has its own bar and its own character. The Elizabethan suits a big day with dancing; the Baronial Hall suits a more intimate celebration.

The largest of the three rooms. Its 14th-century beams are reputed to have come from a Welsh monastery, and the room looks out over the golf course, with a spacious terrace for drinks and photographs. The sunken dance floor sits in the middle, so the evening has somewhere to go.

A room that has to be seen to be enjoyed. Traditional beams, old-style lighting, a minstrels' gallery reached by its own staircase and an inglenook fireplace. Dressed for an occasion it looks magical, and it suits a more intimate wedding or celebration.

Can we hold the ceremony at Bird Hills?We host wedding receptions. If your ceremony is elsewhere, tell us its time and place and we will plan the reception around it.How many guests can we invite?Up to 200. The Elizabethan Restaurant seats 130, or 200 at an informal buffet; the Baronial Hall seats 70, or 160 at an informal buffet.What does venue hire include?All-day hire of your chosen room for £1,500, with its own bar. Food is chosen separately, from the menus above or designed with you.Can you cater for dietary requirements?Yes, all of them.
