The club's own records
The names on the wall.
The boards in the clubhouse carry the club captains, the club champions and the handicap champions, year by year. They are being transcribed exactly as they are recorded there.

Nothing is published here until the club confirms it.

Each board will read year by year, newest first, with a search across every name and a way to tell us about a correction. If you hold a record we are missing, or you spot a name we have wrong, the team would like to hear from you.

Why the boards matter
A club captain’s year is a year of the club’s life. Put end to end, the boards are the longest continuous record Bird Hills holds of the people who have played here.
They sit alongside a much older story: this ground was Hawthorn Hill Racecourse before it was a golf course, and it has been keeping the names of winners since 1881.
